Use this free task completion tracker template in AppFlowy to turn a project checklist into a progress report. Check Done on individual tasks and see completed counts, remaining work, and completion percentages update in the linked project database.
What’s included

How to use the template
- Select Use this template to copy the tracker and its related task database.
- Replace the sample projects and tasks with your own checklist.
- Assign each task to a project using the Project relation, then add an owner and priority.
- Check Done when a task is finished. Review the project overview during check-ins.
Preview the Project Checklist Tasks database to inspect the task properties.
Example: calculate project completion
Website launch has four tasks, with two checked Done. It shows 2 Completed, 2 Remaining, and 50% completion. Checking Review mobile layouts changes those values to 3, 1, and 75%.
Each task has equal weight. The percentage measures completed tasks, not effort or time remaining. A project without tasks shows zero counts, a blank completion percentage, and Add tasks.
Who it’s for
Use it for launch checklists, client onboarding, release reviews, research, and recurring internal projects. It works well when your team needs a simple completed-or-unfinished checklist.
The template uses a native Rollup property to read Done from related tasks. Direct relation formulas using current.prop("Done") are not supported in the current AppFlowy formula engine.
Pair it with Project Expense Tracker for costs or Deadline Tracker for due dates.
